Hey guys!
I'll start by saying it's good to be back! The dA app is way better than I thought it would be! Although I don't like that I can't choose which Folders I submit stuff to~ And I can't add tags~ But oh well. Is better than nothing~
And this!
Revamped WHUTplz account! Use it when you see a hottie 
So! This is to tell you that I'm opening two new Folders for my arts!
The first one will be called "Xavier's Chars"
One of my best friends since 6th grade! We've always brainstormed nerd stuff together. And although his drawing skills are... well, non-existent~ He's a very creative person and uses Soul Caliber 5 and my artsy skillage to convey his ideas! With that being said, a lot of my original characters are ones he and I made together! Some Sonic, some standard anime peeps. So much so that they really do deserve their own folder lol He hasn't got much up yet but he joined us recently! KillMeINC
The second one will be called "Your Receipt, Ma'am?"
I've been working as a cashier at our local supermarket for a little over 2 years now (I hate it btw...) BUT! The great thing about it is that with all the standing around (while I SHOULD be sweeping or dusting or whatever..), I've managed to compile a MASSIVE haul of doodles!! As proof I haven't been dead all this time! Sadly, these are some of the ONLY things I have to show for new arts~ But they're all dated! Some date all the way back to July of 2013 lol And I'm glad I can use the "down time" to keep sharpening my craft even though it may eventually get me fired XD;;;
There's a TON. And with my laptop fried until I can afford a new one, I wont be able to edit them much to look super pretty~ So you guys will have to keep putting up with the phone pictures for now~
So stay tuned, bros! I've got a ton of new stuff for you soon! Including gifts and surprises so keep your eyes open!
Also I'm bringing a bunch of old stuff back from the Scrap pile~ Don't know why I decided to hide some of these..
AND!! Art trades will be opening soon! So keep an eye out for that too!

GUESS WHAT JUST HAPPENED FRIENDS :'D
LITERALLY THE SAME EXACT THING AS MY LAST UPDATE! I fcking hate life so much right now...
ANYWAYS..
I was following up with my yearly update! Yaaaay woooo shouldn't joke about thaaat
I'm keepin' it short this time because I doubt anyone really reads my things anymore anyway~ )lD;
Just found out that deviantART has a mobile app now! Which means I can actually maybe submit stuff now seeing as my laptop is officially dead.. I was able to save the stuff on it but until I can afford to replace it (which likely won't be anytime soon...) I'm completely limited to my phone... All submissions that aren't digital will be crudely taken photos and for that I'm already so sorry~ )l3 But again! It's not like many people see my stuff nowadays anyway so what does it really matter, amiright?
I forgot what the other thing I wrote was...
So I'm hoping to crank out some posts! This app makes it all so easy! I just wish I could tell what it would translate to desktop wise~

Sonic Boom in NYC!!! Anyone else going??

Well friends, Sonic Boom, the US's own Sonic the Hedgehog Convention is
LESS THAN TWO WEEKS AWAY!!!!
I seriously have been Out of my MIND excited for this event!! Not only is this my 10th year of being a Sonic obsessed maniac, but years of social abuse and being casted out for how much I really do just love him are FINALLY going to be made worth it on this one night!
To be surrounded by people who are just like me in their love and admiration for Sonic has been a dream of mine since I was 11 years old. And when I found out that this con was ACTUALLY within my reach this year, I literally could NOT stop the faucet that was my happy face. AT WORK nonetheless! So regardless to say, the thing I'm the most excited about is getting to hang out with all of the Sonic fans there :3 I can't wait to be with my people!
Of course, I'm also super excited about the guests! I have a special something to sign for everyone!
Mike Pollock is one of my favorite VAs <3 So for him and the others there, I was gonna draw portraits of them side by side with their character. But I'm probably just gonna have them sign the stickers I haven't mentioned yet XD. 
For Jun Senoue, who is my hero because I literally only ever listen to Sonic music (not even kidding.), I'm gonna have him sign my iPod For Takashi Iizuka, I think I'm gonna have him sign my copy of Sonic Unleashed since it's my favorite game~ He was hard to pick for since I didn't really understand quite how fucking amazing he is until just recently, I think I'm gonna try to make a sign that says "Your work is my Life, Thank you for everything!" I don't know.. too much? And most importantly, for the biggest inspiration to my art and the one who told me to follow my dreams 7 years ago, Tracey Yardley! will be hopefully signing a note he wrote to us thanks to my mother chasing him down through my account all that time ago X3 It's stuck with me all this time and I think it's the perfect thing 
As a final note~ Anyone interested in haveing the communications with meh~
I will be wearing a Kaci the Cat T-shirt and passing out free homemade promotional stickers! They'll be part of sets with my links on the back so y'all can visit my page to get them all!

/ speaking on behalf of Kaci!oops I forgot. She wanted me to tell you all if anyone's going to the NYC Sonic convention, she's going to be posting a journal about it later!
she and I both apologize for the lack of activity here - we've both been rather busy with life! Plus, something I know hasn't been posted before is that Kaci has an Instagram account. ...unfortunately I can't remember her username but I'll post it once she reminds me XD she's been taking other sketch trades there too.
She told me she's going to hopefully come on later today to post some new art, so keep your fingers crossed!
Also a very large portion of messages have been removed from her inbox because I'm sorry hunnies but there were just TOO many. I haven't touched some of the notes that have been sent tho cuz she hasn't said if I could or not yet but, well, I'm hoping she will cuz of how slow we both are now at responding.
Sketch Trades are CLOSED!
Now before we say anything else we would like to remind people that your style, skill level, or character complexity has nothing to do with her choice to accept a Trade. Her issue now is she has very little time to work on too many things.
Sketch Trade Guidelines
If you would like to do a sketch trade with Kaci, please leave a comment or send a note WITH a full body reference of what character you would like with either KACItheCAT and/or LittleMissScarlet
She will only be taking three Trades at a time and once the list is filled it won't reopen until all three trades are finished.
We have the right to refuse.
She will draw your character in anyway she pleases unless specified otherwise. (Appropriately, of course)

A new type of commission is being added - MOBILE Digital! Kaci got a 6in Tablet for her birthday! And she also has the awesome app SketchBookMobile! The art she can make on it is...fairly crude? But still worthy of attention!The reason we bring this to your attention is, We're offering a special reduced commission price for digital art from this tablet! It's reduced because even though the art wont be quite as great as an Illustrator/Photoshop piece, it will be done in half the time! Mostly because she brings that thing EVERYWHERE.
